The npower combines the electricity and gas supply businesses of MEB Calortex,
MEB Power line, National Power Energy Direct, Independent Energy, Yorkshire
Electricity and Northern Electric & Gas. Npower is one of the biggest energy
suppliers and has about 6.8 million customers in UK. It is observed based on a
customer survey that the company is the fifth energy supplier in UK.

Features of npower services

Npower Limited supplies electricity generated from fossil fuels to the residential,
commercial and industrial sectors. The company also is engaged on the development
of ‘green energy’ technology.
No service charges are included in the customers bills and only the cost
of consumption is charged.
The customer can maintain the account online by receiving online bills, submitting
meter readings and also making online payments. A regular online account is allotted
to each customer.
All discounts offered by the company are credited to the customer’s account.

Prices
The company has reduced the Gas and Electricity prices by 16% and 3% respectively.
They have also offered an additional discount of £21 to the new customers, who
signup for the duel fuel plan.

A regular discount of £80 is offered to those who stay with npower through 12 moths
and using both gas and electricity.

A discount of £20 per month is offered if only GAS or Electricity is used from
npower.

Complaints:
