renewable sources. The company is supported by Utility Link, a licensed supplier in
UK. Green Energy UK offers, to the first 100,000 customers, fully paid-up shares in
Green Energy (UK) plc, The company has a scheme to buy excess energy from those
who generate renewable energy for home or business. The renewable energy sources
include wind, solar, combined heat and power (CHP), small-scale hydro-electric,
energy from biomass and organic waste material (pig waste).

1 unit =1000 watts/hour ( That is burning of a 100 Watts bulb for 10 hours)

Daily Fixed charges are made to cover the overheads due to expenses towards
regional electricity company’s charges

The difference in rate is due to transmission losses and variation of maintenance
infrastructure between one region and the other.
