Tariffs
Two types of options are offered
New Energy:
It costs the same as incumbent supplier in your region. A portion of your electricity
usage is made up by renewable sources. This money is invested in to new wind
turbines and you are directly helping Ecotricity .
New Energy Plus
If you opt for New energy plus or old energy 100% of your usage is met with
renewable energy sources. The old energy stock is called as ‘Old Energy’ built before
the year 2000. This tariff costs about 5% more than the New Energy tariff.
